We all know that the omega-3 rich oils in fish are very good for you - we talk about this on our website , but according to an anti-obesity study carried out by the Universty of South Australia a few years ago, these fish oils, combined with exercise can help improve the efficiency of exercise for weight loss.
Basically, volunteers who were given a diet rich in fish oil showed greater weight loss as compared to those who did not consume a fish oil diet. The conclusion was that exercise combined with the fish oil had a positive effect on the body shape and body composition of the participants.
